This effectively forces you into using the wiki to find out where to get items and equipment related to Thieving to boost your chances just to seemingly grind forever on 100% success targets. Add to it that your success rate climbs ridiculously slow as you level up. All targets can also give global rare drops. Each area has unique drops and most targets have a unique drop with less than 0.02% drop rate. Thieving just flat sucks to due to hellishly low drop rates being lower than 0.5%.
MELVOR IDLE ALT MAGIC PLUS
Then, there's Alt Magic's Superheating III basically giving 3x bars for the cost of 1 bar plus runes. My only complaint is the obscene cost of 12 coal per dragonite bar effectively screwing over all forms of mass production without spending a week mining coal. The smithing gloves that offer +60% xp is damn good for hitting Level 99 at a reasonable pace. Expect to spend weeks on Mining for coal, dragonite ore, and rune essence. The two mining gloves that give a choice between constant gems or 2x mined ores/coal is really, really nice. I honestly wish all other skills followed something like Mining does with time per action without forcing you to sacrifice other extremely useful buffs. Mining is really good since the time per ore gets down to 1.3 seconds per action. Expect to spend tons of gold and even tons more time farming different materials to cook with if you don't want to exclusively cook nothing but raw fish. The junk items you fish up literally exist to clog up your already limited storage.Ĭooking offers a good variety of different foods you can cook. No, I'm not salty at all that Firemaking just flat out refuses to cough up a single Summoning Mark after 4 hours of burning logs with 99 Mastery.įishing is a pain in the ass due to variable fishing times. Being able to chop two types of trees at once is really nice but still ultimately slow af when you examine the amount of wood needed by other skills.įiremaking is a useless skill who's biggest contribution is +5% Global Mastery xp. Woodcutting is exactly what you'd expect it to be. It isn't until you're at a very high level that Slayer starts paying off by bringing in enough Slayer coins that you can buy resupply packs to keep your Prayer charged and going. Prayer requires you to spend an absurd amount of time farming bones just to get the leveling started. What hampers this is that the "right Slayer gear" is always something you must equip AKA sacrifice an equipment slot to avoid getting screwed by crippling debuffs. I do like that most Slayer areas will apply some form of crippling debuff unless you have the "right Slayer gear" to nullify it. Basically, you can't sit back and autohunt anything Slayer related for a really long while. You run into a gauntlet of slayer mobs ranging from really weak to just strong enough to pack your shit if you're not level 50+ HP with Tier 3 autoeat. Slayer.good lord, the early levels of Slayer is just unfun. God dungeons are extremely guilty of this. Just expect to spend a ridiculous amount of time doing hundreds or even thousands of runs for a unique item with a low af drop rate. In short, don't expect anything interesting from dungeons. The same is observed with the Zombie Leader(lv71, 700 HP), boss mob of the Undead Graveyard dungeon. Most mobs don't even pass Mumma Chicken in HP until you start reaching lv60+ mobs. All other mobs around lv30-40 have 250-400 HP. The Giant Crab is only mob in the game has a lower level than Mumma Chicken and more HP than her. The easiest dungeon in the game is the Chicken Coop and consists of the Chicken(Lv1, 30 HP), Chick(Lv1, 30 HP), and Mumma Chicken(Lv39, 500 HP). The above complaints are most notable when it comes to running dungeons. High level combat is just a shitshow of enduring hits while slowly whittling down damage sponges with low af drop rates. Mid level combat turns into a slog due to enemies HP outpacing the player's damage growth. Low level combat drops nothing but stuff you can easily make/gather quicker than the time it took to kill said mob. Otherwise, you get utterly screwed for focusing on one combat type. This effectively screws you into being forced to raise and eventually max all of your combat skills. I wish I could recommend this game but the sheer grindy hell kills it for me.Ĭombat is Rock-Paper-Scissors zero-sum garbage.
